Chelsea Football Club have started their summer transfer plans as the Blues are considering their options as they look to bring in world-class players to massively improve the overall quality of the squad under Thomas Tuchel. According to reports, Chelsea are reportedly eyeing a massive deal to complete the signing of world-class Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule as Thomas Tuchel is very keen on bringing in a world-class defender to Stamford Bridge in the summer in order to fully implement his preferred style.

Niklas Sule has been earmarked by Thomas Tuchel as a potential signing to bring in massive defensive stability for Chelsea as the defender has been linked with a move out of Bayern Munich with his current contract set to expired in the summer of 2022.

25-year Old Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule is regarded as one of the best defenders in Europe as he has been truly instrumental for Bayern Munich since he joined the German giants from Hoffenheim, he has helped Bayern to back to back league titles and was also instrumental in the treble win. However, Niklas Sule has been linked with a move out of Bayern Munich as he has failed to secure regular playing time this season after suffering a serious injury last year, however Bayern Munich are still very keen to keep him.

Chelsea are very interested in signing the dominant 6ft 6in defender but the Blues will have to pay a fee in the region of £45million to complete the signing of the world-class Bundesliga star defender. Niklas Sule is a very powerful defender whose excellent reading of the game, pace, tackling ability, experience and aerial dominance will make him a massive addition for Chelsea as he will bolster the Blues’ backline under Thomas Tuchel next season. Also, Niklas Sule is also keen to leave Bayern and this has given Chelsea a boost.

Chelsea are really very keen to bring in a defender in the summer and the arrival of Niklas Sule will bring tremendous quality and solidity for the Stamford Bridge faithfuls if they’re able to reach an agreement with Bayern. Also, Chelsea have been linked with a move for Dayot Upamencano but Chelsea are set to lose out on the Frenchman as Bayern Munich are very keen on the player and this has made Chelsea’s move for Niklas Sule the best option.
