Opinion - Barcelona can still challenge for the La Liga Title

Barcelona got back to winning ways after their impressive 3-1 victory against Valencia at the Camp Nou, thanks to goals from Ansu Fati, Memphis Depay, and Phillipe Coutinho. The win saw Ronald Koeman's men move from 9th to 7th, 5 points behind log leaders Real Sociedad, having played one game fewer.

Barcelona have a very decent chance of competing for the title this season, despite the poor start to the league season. With only 5 points behind the log leaders, a win against Real Madrid next weekend will take Barca to within touching distance of Real Sociedad, with a game in hand.

The return of Ansu Fati has been massive for the Blaugranas. The Spanish international has scored 2 goals in 3 Laliga games since his sensation return to action. Coutinho seems to have regained his lost form after back-to-back impressive games in Laliga.

Aguero returned to action with a goal to his name in a behind-closed-doors friendly game during the international break. The only player yet to feature for Ronald Koeman's men this season is Ousmane Dembele.

With Fati and Memphis Depay's form this season, Barcelona has a very strong chance of mounting a title challenge.

An informed front trio of Fati, Depay, and Aguero will bring the club back to winning ways, and back into the title mix.

Concerning Koeman's future at the club, in my opinion, he will figure out a way to save his job. The return of Fati, Aguero, and Dembele gives him (koeman) an extra quality in attack, something the club has lacked in recent games. Don't give up on Barcelona and Ronald Koeman just yet.
