The NBA is really heating up with lots of drama, intrigues, action and more, especially as teams are rounding up for the season. Last night, Wednesday June 2, 2021 the Philadelphia 76ers defeated Washington Wizards 129-112 in game five of the day.

Following their victory against their arch rival, 76ers have advanced to the next round of the NBA playoffs. And on Sunday , June 6, Philadelphia 76ers will now face the Atlanta Hawks in GM1 of the Eastern Conference Semi finals, and the game is set to hold in the city of Philadelphia.

The 76ers owe their important victory last night to some of their key players, who in spite of the absence of their hitman, Embiid due to knee injury, still carried the team on their shoulders, and made sure they qualified for the next round. For instance, Seth Curry scored a playoff career high 30 points as Philadelphia thrashed Washington 129-112 on the night.

Then another of their great shooter, Tobias Harris scored another high with 28 points. Ben Simmons scored 19 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds to help 76ers remain in the race for their first ever Championship since 1983. In fact, the trio of Curry, Tobias and Simmons made sure the absence of Embiid was never noticed or felt throughout the duration of the game.

But regardless of the victory, 76ers need all the helping hand as possible in other to keep going and to win their first championship in over three decades now. Hence, they need their injured star man, Embiid back in the team, healthy and fit, and also ready to face Atlanta in the second round.
