Super Eagles goalkeeper, Uzoho steps up recovery with gym workout

Uzoho Francis could return earlier than expected for the Super Eagles.

Uzoho, 20, was carried off on a stretcher after he ruptured his knee ligaments during the 1-1 friendly draw with Brazil in Singapore.

The injury saw him miss Nigeria's last AFCON 2021 qualifying double header against Squirrels of Benin Republic and Crocodiles of Lesotho.

Meanwhile, the Omonia Nicosia of Cyprus shot stopper has stepped up his recovery after he shared a video of himself working out in the gym.

He posted the video on his verified Instagram account.

'90days after my surgery. I’ve really missed being out there on the field😭 #what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I’m getting stronger and will be back soon 🍀💚.'

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama expressed his delight after watching the clip and replied, '👏👏👏👏💪💪💪💪💪He is back.'
