Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal have spent a lot of money during the summer transfer window. The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, Varane, Romelu Lukaku, Ben White, Tomiyasu, and Martin Odegaard moved to the English Premier League this summer. Both Arsenal and Chelsea players have done very well since the beginning of this season.
However, there is one team Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea might find difficult to defeat this season. Let us take a look at this team.
1. LEICESTER CITY
Leicester City Football Club is a professional football club based in Leicester in the East Midlands, England. The club competes in the Premier League, the top division of England's football league system, and plays its home matches at the King Power Stadium.
Position: 13th Points: 8
Having suffered the heartache of being knocked out of the top four on the final day in the last two seasons, the joke is that Leicester won't have to go through the pain again.
But that isn't because they look nailed-on for the Champions League spots, more they don't look capable of getting anywhere near them.
It's been a seriously underwhelming start for the Foxes, who have struggled to balance the demands of the Europa League and have been affected by injuries to key personnel.
They have lost to West Ham, Man City and Brighton, were held at home by Burnley and looked tired as they chucked away a two-goal lead at Crystal Palace on Sunday.
It certainly feels like further progress under Brendan Rodgers is going to prove difficult this season but with Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho both in good form, you can't rule them out.
A bit of consistency is needed and returning players to bolster their defense and midfield will help that. They also need to get back into the Thursday-Sunday routine, which is never ideal.
They're too good a side to finish in their current mid-table position but improvement is needed.
