The 82-year old granny,Willie Murphy is 5 feet tall and 105 Ibs heavy.
"I hear a loud noise. I'm thinking what the heck was that? The young man is in my home. He broke the door. I picked up the table and i went to work on him,the table broke" she spoke to Fox News.
She called the Police before deciding to pick up the closest thing to her to put the assailant down.
"I'm alone and i'm old but guess what? I'm tough" says Murphy the 82 year old grandma.
She also had a shampoo and a broom in her hands aside the table. The man tried escaping, she tried to help him out but the cops arrived almost immediately.
"He picked the wrong house to break into" she said which we all agreed as we can see how she handled the burglar.
Murphy has been lifting since 2011 after seeing competition at the Maple wood Family YMCA. She became a local celebrity since then and has always done everything on her own. She even won 2014 world Natural Powerlifting Federation world championship for her division.
Everyone has to learn how to protect themselves regardless of their age.
