Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has been the club's regular penalty taker since he joined them during the era of Maurizio Sarri.
However, there was a time that Jorginho was excused from taking penalty kicks and that was during the time of Frank Lampard, who asked Timo Werner to be taking the penalty kicks instead.
Going forward, Jorginho has been reinstalled back as the No.1 penalty taker in Chelsea and that duty saw him scored over 5 goals in the league last season and he looks likely to still hold that role as the new season gets going.

However, in recent weeks, Jorginho has not been inconsistent in his conversion rate and his recent penalty kick miss was against Yann Sommer of Switzerland during Italy's World Cup qualifying match.

Meanwhile, with Chelsea set to continue their dominance in Europe, consideration needs to be taken as to who would be taking the penalty kicks, and these 5 players should be given the duty of a penalty taker instead of Jorginho.

The England international star has not been involved with many penalty kicks but he has a high conversion rate, his recent success was during the Uefa Super Cup, converting Chelsea's 3rd penalty of the night.
Mason Mount will be a good choice to take penalty kicks if Tuchel decides to take the role away from Jorginho.

The left-back is always a goal threat in and outside the box 18.
Marcos Alonso converted from the spot-kick during the last time he was given the role against Villarreal.
(3) Hakim Ziyech
Morrocan international is always an option if it comes to penalty kicks and his conversion rates back this up.

According to transfermarkt.com, Ziyech has converted 14 penalty kicks for country and club.
(4) Cesar Azpilicueta

The Spanish international was included in the list of penalty takers for Chelsea during the Uefa Super Cup, and that shows how much Tuchel trusted him with that duty.
Cesar Azpilicueta didn't disappoint either the Chelsea fans or his coaches, and he should be considered for the role if Jorginho is stripped off from the duty.
(5) Romelu Lukaku

The Belgian striker has scored 19 attempts in a row for both club and country and doesn't look like missing at the moment.
Romelu Lukaku is a big figure in the Chelsea dressing room and he could be given a more leadership role by handing him the penalty taker's role.
