Most Nigerians are too fond of saying this words “ I will flash you” or “ I flashed you earlier” whenever there don’t want to make a full call due to lack of airtime or other reasons.
Flash, a popular authoring software developed by Macromedia, is used to create vector graphics-based animation programs with full-screen navigation interfaces, graphic illustrations, and simple interactivity in an antialiased, resizable file format that is small enough to stream across a normal modem connection.
So the right word to use when you want a short call so that the person you are calling does not pick is “I will beep you” or “I beeped you earlier” and not “ I will flash you”
