What is the significance of adding hashtags in Facebook statuses or on Instagram pictures?

There is some difference between the importance of hashtags on Facebook and Instagram.

On Instagram hashtags do really care - they make posts searchable but they offer also many more options with using them and so that it has a significant impact on engagement our posts get.

On Instagram using hashtags looks more natural and is more natural once posting. We are simply used to both seeing and using them.

When it comes to Facebook, as I said, it’s a bit different. Many people are actually not convinced to using hashtags there and how to actually use them.
