The week is finally coming to an end, as today marks the last day of this memorable week. This week is one that would not be forgotten easily by people, especially those that were affected by its occurrence.

Some of these events were unfortunate as some souls were lost, some were moments that left many shocked and surprised, while some were moments that many would want to remember. Here are the list of some events that occurred this week.

At the beginning of the week, the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, extended strike by 12 weeks. This decision resulted into protest by students with the purpose of ending the strike.

On the 9th of May, a Northern group purchased the N100m APC presidential form for the former president, Goodluck Jonathan. However, it was rejected by Jonathan.

Also this week, there were reports that popular Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji, was suffering from mental from a mental health problem and is receiving treatment in Houston, Texas. However, the actress had shared a video to dismiss the reports.

Deborah, a female student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto State, was killed on Thursday by some students following an allegation that she had blasphemed Muhammad (SAW), the prophet of Islam. Investigation are currently underway concerning this incident.
