In your file manager, head to settings. For most devices, you can find the file manager settings by clicking the hamburger icon located at the top left corner of your screen.
In the settings tab, you'll find the "show hidden files" option. Enable it.
When this is done, head to your internal storage and then click on the WhatsApp option.
Inside the WhatsApp option, click on the "media" option.
You'll find ".statuses", simply click on this.
Upon opening this folder, you'll find all the statutes you've viewed for the day.
Simply copy the WhatsApp photo or video you want to download and head over to another folder and paste it there.
