GIPHY is a search engine for stickers, and a platform for other products using the graphics interchange format (GIF). GIPHY is joining Facebook as part of the Instagram team, it is a leader in visual expression and creation.
News site Axios reported that the social networking platform purchased the animated graphic startup, GIPHY for about $400 million, though the deal was not disclosed, Axios said.
