Facebook purchases GIPHY for Instagram.

Facebook gain momentum as it teaming crowd of users continue to grow, on both the Facebook platform, and other social media outfits Facebook owns or is a partner. 

The Instagram platform, which is one of Facebook outlet that feature graphic communication, including photos and videos is not left out as it number of users continue to grow as well.

It is for this reason that Facebook now acquired GIPHY, to be integrated as part of Instagram. Photos are not just photos today, they convey a lot of messages and get messages passed in most cases with no stress. This is a factor Facebook considered in trying to explore this viable option.

GIPHY is a search engine for stickers, and a platform for other products using the graphics interchange format (GIF). GIPHY is joining Facebook as part of the Instagram team, it is a leader in visual expression and creation.

News site Axios reported that the social networking platform purchased the animated graphic startup, GIPHY for about $400 million, though the deal was not disclosed, Axios said.

Every business' dream is to satisfy it growing team of consumers, this is what the California based tech giant intend to achieve by making this deal.
