Shehu Sani, a former Senator from Kaduna central was on his Twitter account this morning to share one of the funny things Nigerians do sometimes.
In his tweet, Shehu Sani said that when our phones refused to work we pet it and when our remote control refused to work we beat it.
This is actually very true, funny and relatable. A lot of people do this, though that method works sometimes. Whenever my remote control stops working the easiest solution is to hit it hard or bang it on the table, and sometimes I just change the battery.
I think the reason we can't hit our phones whenever it refuses to work is because Phones are more fragile and expensive than TV or decoder remotes, and they function differently. Phones are mainly driven by software that can't be seen or beaten, while remote controls are mainly hardware.
