The 12,988,978 Cyber Attacks Recorded In Nigeria Was Not Targeted At INEC Alone - Pantami

The Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, has disclosed that despite various opinion about the record of cyber attacks that was announced by his ministry, he stand firmly with the 12,988,978 cyber attacks which his ministry reported that it was recorded in Nigeria.
According to Isa Pantami, there was never a time the ministry of communication or any other relevant government agency reported that the over 12 million cyber attacks was targeted at INEC alone. Isa Pantami maintained that the figures was the total number of cyber attacks which was recorded throughout Nigeria.
Isa Pantami went on to say that the attacks ranged from attacks at companies or private emails of individuals. Isa Pantami also stated that the record of the cyber attacks was not recorded with paper and pen, however, it was digitally recorded by three different government agencies. Isa Pantami went on to say that he can bring some experts from his ministry to challenge any expert who wants to challenge the position of his ministry.
