Nigeria as a country has been a unique one in Africa and the entire world as a whole. The name 'Nigeria' was derived from the river Niger found in Nigeria and also in the outskirts of Nigeria. It has 6 (six ) geopolitical zones and over 100 ethic groups.
In the recent past, Nigeria as a country has been faced with lots of challenges ranging from insurgencies, insecurities, unemployment and lots more.
Here are some of the challenges and how they made Nigeria popular:
Unemployment : Few years ago, unemployment was a pressing need in Nigeria, youths from the country were unable to secure immediate employment after their tertiary education. Some traveled out to other countries in a bid for greener pastures, in this way, foreign investors saw the need to invest in our dear country Nigeria and this increased our economical growth. When youths from Nigeria travel to other countries, they perform very well in their chosen field of work, this increased the value and popularity of Nigerians in other countries
Insurgencies : Insurgents like the Boko Haram, Niger Delta militants etc showed the Nigerian government and the world at large that there is need for a stronger security in the country. Stronger security circles were created to fight the ever growing rate of insurgency in Nigeria.
