People frequently ponder and consider the greatest places to spend their vacations; however, there is no need to worry yourself out any longer; below are the top 5 mind-blowing places to visit during your vacation:
Bali is number five.
Bali is a popular destination for honeymooners throughout our summer months and peak wedding season. The twin-centres of Singapore and Bali have also piqued the curiosity of Kuoni's experts.
Kuoni has added new destinations to its portfolio, including Lovina in northern Bali, which offers a less-commercialized experience of black sand beaches, indigenous fishing settlements, and wild dolphin watching. Kuoni has also added additional hotels in Lombok and the Gili Islands, including The Kayana Lombok's brand new pool villas, and The Royal Santrian Luxury Beach Villas in Bali, which will be unique to Kuoni guests in the UK starting in April 2020.
Sri Lanka is number four.
Due to the 2019 Easter bombings, the FCO advised UK residents avoid all but essential travel for a period of six weeks, Sri Lanka has slipped two places in Kuoni's top ten. This impacted 2020 forward bookings, but tourism is rebounding and demonstrating resilience, aided by some fantastic value deals. Sri Lanka is one of the top five trending locations for 2020 because it is difficult to duplicate; an island with a diverse mix of beaches, old cities, rock temples, and the opportunity to go on safari - all conveniently incorporated into one vacation. Kuoni's private car and driver/guide service is one of the company's most popular, and it provides excellent value for money when it comes to visiting the island. Sri Lanka Explorer, a 12-night exploration of the island's tea estates, ancient cities, botanical gardens, and wild elephant areas, is Kuoni's best-selling escorted small group vacation.
Thailand is number three.
Thailand is one of Kuoni's top three destinations for 2021, with Bangkok, and Phuket remaining top sellers, aided by Kuoni exclusive hotels such as Rocky's Boutique Resort in Koh Samui and Marina Phuket Resort. Khao Lak and Koh Phangan have seen the most expansion, thanks to new hotels like Kalima Resort & Spa Khao Lak, which is tucked away in the mangrove forest along a magnificent, nearly lonely stretch of pristine beach.
Although twincentre vacations account for the majority of Kuoni's bookings, the business has experienced an unexpected 10% spike in bookings for 2020 vacations that include three or more stops. Guests aren't staying longer than the standard 10-14 night itinerary, but they are adding an extra trip to their vacation to see more. Due to a direct connection with Singapore Airlines, Kuoni has seen demand in Singapore and Koh Samui combinations; and 33 percent of Kuoni's Thailand bookings are made through Kuoni's northern outlets, spurred by Qatar Airways and Emirates flights from airports such as Glasgow and Manchester.
Mauritius is number two on the list.
Mauritius has risen to second place after being a consistent favorite. Beautiful national parks, botanical gardens, rum distilleries, and Port Louis, one of the top cities in the world for street food, all attract visitors to the island. It's a great all-rounder for families and honeymooners, with hotels ranging from Maradiva's luxurious pool villas and butler service to Kuoni's best-seller, the rustic-chic all-inclusive Zilwa Attitude, where you can have dinner with a local family in their home or sail across to a deserted island for a barbecue. New additions like Lagoon Attitude are making an impact with a ban on single-use plastic, eco-workshops, and the promotion of a Mauritian-made 100 percent natural sun cream to reduce the risk of coral damage.
Maldives is number one.
For the 17th year in a row, the Maldives is Kuoni's most popular location, with bookings up 6%. Kuoni was the first UK tour operator to provide Maldives vacations in 1972, and the destination has continued to flourish, with over 1.5 million visitors in 2019. The government hopes to boost international visitor numbers to nearly seven million by 2027, thanks to significant investments in airport infrastructure, notably the one-billion-dollar Velana International Airport expansion.
Reethi Faru, with unforgettable eating places such as cabanas lighted by burning torches, and OBLU Select at Sangeli, which features a dedicated adults-only island and one of the Maldives' first all-vegetarian restaurants, are two new additions to Kuoni's list of authentic resorts. Kuoni guests in the UK get exclusive access to seven islands, including the new-look five-star Maafushivaru, which opens in March, and Kuramathi Maldives, which remains Kuoni's most popular island.
