Top Places To Visit In Adamawa State

Adamawa State is situated in the Northeastern geopolitical zone in Nigeria and was created in 1991 with Yola as the State capital.

Adamawa State is divided into 21 Local Government Areas and shares boundaries with Gombe State, Borno State, Taraba State and Cameroon Republic.

The people of Adamawa State are known for their rich historical cultural heritage and festivals but there are beautiful spots in the state.


Koma Hills: The Koma Hills is located in Adamawa State along the Cameroon boarders and it's known for the discovery of the Ancient Koma people.

Mandara Mountain: The Mandara Mountain is a huge tourist spot for Mountain climbers, it lies along the Cameroon boarders.


The Three Sisters Rock: The Three Sisters Rock is located in Song Local Government Area of the state and it's a wonderful wonder to see.


Lamurde Hot Spring: The lamurde Hot Spring also known as "Kwonah Ruwan Zafi" is located in Lamurde Local Government Area of Adamawa State and it's believed to have some healing powers.


Sukur Cultural Landscape: The Sukur Cultural Landscape is a UNESCO world heritage site.


Kiri Dam: The Kiri Dam is located in Shelleng Local Government Area of Adamawa State and has been a source of water to the people for irrigation during dry seasons.

Adamawa State might not be the most beautiful tourist state in Nigeria but there are beautiful spots in the state that worth's your tourist visit.
