Northern Group Advises Northerners Over Travelling To SE.

Recently, ACF (The Arewa Consultative Forum) urged northerners to avoid travelling to the Southern part of the country (especially the South East).

Audu Ogbeh (The National Chairman of the ACF) stated this in a statement he issued on Monday while reacting to the murder of Ahmed Gulak (A former presidential aide) by hoodlums in Imo State.

Ogbeh decried over the alleged attacks and killings of northerners residing in or visiting the South (particularly the South-east).

The forum chairman warned that such will not augur well for the country because it was part of the factors responsible for civil war in 1966.

Ize-Iyamu Lauds Obaseki.

Recently, Mr Adams Oshiomhole and Pastor Ize-Iyamu (APC Edo State governorship candidate in the September 19, 2020 poll) congratulated Governor Godwin Obaseki on his recent victory at the Supreme Court.

Ize-Iyamu in a letter to the governor, said that last Friday’s judgment of the Supreme Court, puts an end to the series of litigations they had over last year’s governorship election.

It's important to know that bandits attacked Islamiyya School at Tegina in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State and kidnapped about 200 students, killing one person and critically injuring another during the operation.

A statement released by Garba Shehu (the President’s mouthpiece) said that Buhari received briefing on the latest incident of school kidnapping and condemned it.

Garba Shehu said that Buhari urged all the agencies involved in the rescue operation to do their utmost in securing their immediate release.

Chidoka Advises Security Agents Over The Murder Of Gulak.

As reactions continue to trail over the murder of Ahmed Gulak, Osita Chidoka (A former Nigeria Aviation Minister) has expressed sadness over the gruesome killing.

It's important to recall that Ahmed Gulak was shot dead while on his way to Sam Mbakwe International Cargo airport.

Reacting in a statement made available to DAILY POST on Monday night, Chidoka, a condemned the unfortunate incident, saying he is embarrassed that Gulak was killed in the Southeast.

Also, Chidoka advised the law enforcement agencies to go extra mile in unmasking the killers of Ahmed Gulak.
