Kajuru castle was built by a German expertraite between 1981-1989 on a mountaintop in Kajuru village.
The architectural style is top-notch as it is often described as the African version of the Bavarian castle. It has an armory,a dungeon, the Knight's hall and many other rare features which makes it one of a kind in the country.

Kajuru is one of the places in Nigeria notorious for banditry, kidnapping and other security vices. It should be recalled that on the 19th of April 2019 some foreigners were kidnapped around this beautiful castle.
A visit to this castle today, will mean you risking your life as the place is now deserted, with little or no security.
The big question is!
Can't the government collaborate with the private owners and make this place a tourist haven again?
