Gembu is a beautiful town found on the mambilla plateau In Taraba state of Nigeria. It is the headquarters of sarduana local government area in Taraba state.
Sitting at an average elevation of about 1,348 meters above the sea level, it is among the high elevated towns in Nigeria, with temperature considered to be the closest place in Nigeria.
This place is among the greatest gift of God, as there is a lot of beauty to behold here.
Home to the highest point in Nigeria, the largest tea farm in Nigeria and the largest National park this area attracts tourists and tour operators but the place is a jewel that must be tapped into.
It's landscape is further beautified with sultry range of mountains, a lush and rural tea farm and the bizarre flowing River Donga.
It is also a historic site of the ancient blacksmith and is a sweet adventure for the fearless.
The Federal government should partner with the Taraba state government to appropriately develop the site and provide maximum security for tourists.
