Nigeria is blessed with so many beautiful tourist attractions. These tourist attractions get visits from people both within and outside the country, in today's article I will be talking about 10 of these sites, you can visit with your loved ones to get a change of scenery. 


Obudu Mountain Resort formally known as Obudu cattle ranch is one the best tourist location in Nigeria. Located in Obudu Plateu, close to the Cameron border in the Northeastern part of Cross River State, this resort has attracted the attention of both international and local tourist, who come for the magnificent view. Activities include, Hiking, Golf, Horse riding, Cable Cars, Canopy walkway among other are put in place to trill visitors, so you should add this to your next location for an amazing vacation.


Amanchor Caves located in Etiti Edda, Afikpo South local government of Ebonyi State is another site worth mentioning. This cave has a rich history, it is said to have saved many lives during the Biafra war, as many hid and moved through it. It has an under tunnel, this is one of the rare caves we have in Nigeria and definitely worth visiting.


Gashaka Gumti National park is Nigeria's largest national parks. Located in eastern province of Taraba/Adamawa state, along Cameron borders, the park has rugged terrain characterised by steep slopes as well as deep valleys. The park was gazette from two game reserves, so there is the presence of wild animals for sight seeing.


Yankari National Park is another tourist center worth visiting. Located in the south-central part of Bauchi State, it serves as a home to several natural warm water springs as well as a wide variety of flora and fauna. The park is the biggest in Nigeria and gives visitors a chance to watch wildlife, so all you animal lovers can be thrilled here. 


Azumini Blue River also know as the Blue River is one beautiful location surrounded with nature at its peak. Located in Azumini in Abia State State, the river is so clear that fishes and gravel can be seen underneath the waters from the river's bridge. Activities like canoe riding, picnicking among other are done, this is the only blue river in Nigeria, so you definitely should see it. 


Awhum Waterfall is another place worth visiting. Located in Enugu State, the waterfall is formed out of massive outcrop of granite rock with water flow at the tip forming a stream,some part of the waterfall is usually warm through some seasons. 


Erin-Ijesha water fall also known as Oluminrin waterfall, is one waterfall said to have Medicinal properties. Located in Erin-ijesha of Osun State, the fall features seven floors on top of which the village, Abike is located. The waterfall attracts people from far and wide and should be in one's must visit locations. 


Ibeno Beach is the longest sand beach in West Africa. Located in Ibeno local government of Akwa ibom State, this beach is one of the most beautiful in Nigeria and also worth visiting. Activities on the beach include, Swimming, beach strolls, sunbathing,horse-riding among others, so adding this beach to your vacation spot wouldn't be such a bad idea. 


Idanre Hills or Oke Idanre, is one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Nigeria. Located in Idanre Town in Ondo state, this is a site that attracts tourists. Activities done here includes the visit to Owa's palace, Iraye tree, Orosun Hill, Thunder water among others, so you should check it out. 


Ogbunike Caves located in Ogbunike in Anambra State, is another beautiful site to behold. The collection of caves is just mind blowing, this is one of Nigeria most impressive caves. Visiting this site, you get to explore the caves which is fun and revealing, so feel free to add it to places you should visit in Nigeria.
