Check out One of the most beautiful countries in the Arab peninsula

Natural beauty is one of the reasons that can lead you to Oman, but it's not the only one.The Long and exciting history of thousands of years. warm and friendly people plus a variety of accommodations on the expensive side though it can make your journey to Oman unforgettable. One of the things I did like about Oman, is the low rising buildings that respect the environment. There is a lot of green, something rather unusual for the Arab peninsula and beautiful pristine beaches with blue waters. The waterfront in different cities- Muscat, Sohar,Sur , Salalah and even in small towns is really something you don't see often around the globe. There is a great variety of food offered with seafood being the main attraction for your palate.

Travel around is quite safe and easy in the newly constructed roads or highways but the secondary roads can offer an interesting alternative. Sultanate of Oman is a Muslim country and you have to keep that in mind especially if you travel there during Ramadan period like I did. There is a quite interesting market with traditional Omani products and with interesting antiques but you have to be aware of imported souvenirs made in China. A trip to Salalah in the south is a must and if you do not like driving you can always go there by plane.

Oman is home to a lot of luxurious 5star hotels, But you can also find a lot of good quality places to stay by the seaside, wadis, in the desert or in the mountainous areas.
