Facts: Photo speaks. In the late 40's the then Oba of Benin visited the then Ogieneni of Uzairue, in Ikpe jattu-uzairue.(kukuruku) The house below is where Oba Akenzua slept during his visit to Ogieneni of Uzairue in Ikpe jattu-uzairue. The house Oba Akenzua ii slept, is the first zinc house in the then kukuruku division. (Afemai). From left, late Kadiri Omogbai ii the Ogieneni of Uzairue, middle, kadiri Omogbai's mother and Oba Akenzua ii of Benin.
I love the respect the Oba gave to Kadiri Omogbai mother. I love the history for the fact we are one and Benin bear Omogbai, Benin use the Ogie-neni, even Uza-irue, we have Ikpe village in Benin. Very too much similarities. But I want the historian that posted this to also let us know the reason for the Oba visit.
