Heavy downpour has led to a Heavy flood which forced people out of their home in Rumuibekwe community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of River State. The residents of the area have fled their homes because of this heavy flood that take over some parts of the community this morning.
Some communities in Lagos State are currently in darkness as a result of the flood which damaged two feeders belonging to the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) following a heavy rainfall in the early morning of Friday, September 24, and which forced the company to shut down the two feeders in one of the injection substations.

The determined couple were not willing to postpone their wedding despite the heavy rain flood in the area. Instead, they decided to borrow a large cooking pot from a local temple and used it as a makeshift boat to "sail" to their wedding ceremony.
