According to Vanguard, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), gave reasons it resorted to the trial of the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Abba Kyari and his co-defendants behind closed door. Mr Sunday Joseph, the Legal Counsel of the NDLEA, told journalist who were barred from covering the sitting in Federal High Court, Abuja, after the case was adjourned by Justice Emeka Nwite.
