The All Progressive Congress (APC) recently conducted state congresses in the various states of the nation, to elect key leaders that would handle the affairs of the party at the various state levels. However, emerging reports after the various state congresses revealed that there were states where parallel congresses were held.
Available indicators have shown that the internal crisis in the Kano chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress has continued to deepen. The rift between the incumbent Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and the Senator representing Kano Central, Ibrahim Shekarau came to the fore on Saturday when APC held parallel congresses in the State.
