The PDP Chieftain speaking about the attack in an interview with Channels TV accused the ruling party of utilizing thuggery to intimidate opposition parties. He alleged that he wasn't the candidate of the party and that he was only going to court to show solidarity to their party candidate, Ladi Adebutu.
