In order to ensure that only people who are registered, certified, and licensed are allowed to teach in schools, the House of Representatives has urged the Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria to publish a list of all of Nigeria's unqualified instructors. Court moves to consolidate all petitions against Tinubu Photo credit vanguard ABUJA – The Presidential Election Petition Court, sitting in Abuja, has disclosed its intention to consolidate the three different petitions that are seeking to nullify the outcome of the 2023 presidential election. Consequently, the court, at its resumed proceedings on Saturday, said it was empowered by Paragraph 50 of the First Schedule to the Electoral Act, to merge all the petitions and determine them together.

Court Nullifies Appointment of Omuo-Ekiti Chief
Vanguard news reported that the Ekiti State High Court sitting in Omuo Ekiti on Friday nullified the appointment of Mr Jamiu Dende as the Agere of Okeringun, Omuo-Oke Ekiti. Justice Oluwatoyin Abodunde in her judgment held that the appointment was null and void because it was made in violation of the Ekiti State Chieftaincy Law.
