Yoruba Group disown Sunday Igboho and Prof Akintoye over secession call
The Agbajowo Advocacy for Yoruba People's Rights, or AAYPR, a Pan Yoruba socio-cultural organization, has condemned calls for the nation to be divided and the Yoruba people to secede from Nigeria.Activists such as Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, and Prof Banji Akitoye have advocated for Yoruba secession from Nigeria.

That is why the Yoruba National Liberation Front and others in southern Nigeria, are crying foul over the government's new anti-corruption law. Activist groups in southern Nigeria affiliated to the Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance, for Self Determination (NINAS) have published a statement on the anti-corruption law.
