President Bola Tinubu yesterday announced his first appointments, four days into his administration. The President appointed Senator George Akume, former Governor of Benue State, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF). According to Daily Post, The President also appointed the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, as Chief of Staff and former Deputy Chief of Staff, former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, Senator Ibrahim Hadejia, as Deputy Chief of Staff.
