NSCDC Officials Lament Dichotomy Between HND/BSC Holders
Some officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) lamented the dichotomy between Higher National Diploma (HND) and university degree holders, saying this has greatly affected their career advancement. According to Punch, Officials who lamented unfair treatment and lack of career advancement at the NSCDC said that the disparity in work schedules has failed to boost the morale of HND holders at the NSCDC.

In an interview with Vanguard in Abuja, Comrade Anderson Ezeibe, National President of ASUP, stated that young Nigerians are no longer interested in studying in the country's polytechnic institutions because of the dichotomy.
