House of Representatives invites Emefiele over N32.5 bn payment without records
The House of Representatives has invited Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Godwin Emefiele to explain how about N32.5 billion was paid to two companies, Messrs GSCL Consulting and Biz Plus without any formal record. The House also summoned the Auditor General for the Federation, the Accountant General of the Federation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Managing Directors of Exxon Mobil, Nigeria Agip Oil Company among others to appear before the ad hoc committee investigating the missing 48 million barrel of crude oil.
