Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, Kano State Commissioner for Health, has disclosed that no fewer than 10 persons have died and five hundred others are hospitalised after drinking flavoured drinks which contained citric acid in Kano according to Daily Trust newspaper.He disclosed that fifty among the people who are hospitalized are undergoing kidney related treatment arising from complications related to the consumption of flavoured drinks.
