Police arrest 6 suspected kidnappers in Adamawa The Police Command in Adamawa says it has arrested six suspected kidnappers who attacked Ngurore police station in Yola-South and kidnapped nursing a mother. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) report that the incident occurred on Oct. 10 and the victims were rescued.

In the latest ranking, the University of Ibadan (UI) top the list of the best university in Nigeria which is closely followed by the Covenant University.
Only two out of the top ten webometrics-ranked Nigerian universities are not owned by the federal government. The first, Covenant University is ranked second in Nigeria (21st in Africa and 1314th in the world). The second non federal university occupies ninth position in Nigeria (67th in Africa and 2298th in the world).
On Tuesday this week, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the cancellation of the general cut-off marks for admission into tertiary institutions and instead opted to allow individual institutions the liberty to set their minimum benchmark for admission. During the meeting where the policy decision was taken, the Registrar of JAMB Prof. Is-haq Oloyede mentioned the cut-off marks that some universities had proposed for 2021 admissions.
