According to a report from Daily Trust, an enraged mob stormed the Divisional Police Headquarters in Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State on Saturday, killing 13 suspected bandits whose bodies were burned to ashes. The bandits were said to be among those who stormed the area around 8 p.m. on Friday and killed two people, one of whom was a shop owner.
Hunters from Saminaka village in the Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State have been scouring the forests in the area for bandits who attacked their home on Sunday, September 19, 2021, murdering six people. According to a report by Daily Trust, most of the males in Saminaka who are hunters were out hunting when the bandits attacked in the early hours of Sunday.

At least eight persons were killed in an aerial bombardment on village in Yunusari government of Yobe State, on Wednesday. Ali, a resident, told Daily Trust that the incident occurred on Wednesday morning. He said residents were departing to their farms and heading for the Geidam weekly market when the mishap occurred.
On Saturday, 12 military personnel were murdered by bandits in Zamfara State after they laid an ambush on the army base in Mutumji, Zamfara State.
