According to the Punch, eleven aspirants have expressed interest in succeeding the incumbent National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, as the PDP National Convention approaches. Senators David Mark (Benue), Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe), Suleiman Nazif (Bauchi), Ahmed Markafi (Kaduna), Ibrahim Idris (Kogi), Iyorchia Ayu (Benue), Ibrahim Shema (Katsina), among others.
