The Super Tucano fighter jet can travel at a speed of 590 kilometers per hour and travel at an altitude of 35,000 feet. The first batch of Nigerian A-29 Super Tucano fighter jets arrived in the country on Thursday. A statement issued by the spokesperson of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, said the planes were received in Kano State by the Minister of Defense, Major Bashir Magashi (retired), accompanied by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya and the Chief of Air Staff.
