After several weeks of anxiety and uncertainty at the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta in Ogun State following leadership crisis and tenure extension saga, calm appears to have been restored at the hospital. Late on Monday night, the immediate past Chief Medical Director, Prof Adewale Musa Olomu was said to have handed over the affairs of the hospital to the Head of Clinical Services, Dr Fidelis Ojeblemu, in acting capacity, pending further directives from the Federal Government.
