The Federal Government of Nigeria has disclosed the compensation of N75,000 as a stipend per semester for undergraduate students undergoing degree programs in education in federal higher institutions. While students undergoing degree programs will receive N75,000 as a stipend, the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) students will be paid N50,000 as allowance per semester as part of the intentional effort of the Nigeria government to entice the best into the teaching profession as assured by PresidentBuhari during the monument of World Teachers’ Day in 2020.
