Sani Abdullahi, who resides in Hausawa Quarters, Kano, appeared before the Sharia Court on Wednesday for allegedly stealing a sewing machine and fabrics worth N330,000. The unemployed man faced charges of shop breaking and theft in the court. According to the prosecution counsel, Inspector Abdullahi Wada, the complainant, Muhammed Abubakar, reported the incident to the Gwale Police Station in Kano on June 2.
