It seems the early prayers made by the lone occupant of a Toyota Avalon before leaving home must have saved him from an impending calamity as he escaped death in the afternoon of Thursday, September 30, when the driver of a truck rammed into his car from behind which caused him to lose control and also hit a bus belonging to the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT).
Information from a reliable source has it that some group of Oduduwa Republic agitators have defied the Federal Government's order and opened the Idiroko border today. The Idiroko border is in the town between Nigeria and the Republic of Benin, the said border was closed by the Federal Government since 2019.
A wild uproar broke out at Idiroko, Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State in the Southwestern region of Nigeria on Saturday, when the agitators for the creation of Yoruba nation bombarded and opened the border land in the area by force. However, the agitators were swiftly repelled by the Security personnel of the Nigeria Customs Service present at the border, separating Nigeria and the Republic of Benin.
It was today reported that some Yoruba nation agitators stormed Idiroko in Ogun State and opened the land border forcefully. Idiroko is a border town between the Republic of Benin and Nigeria. According to Daily Post report, the Idiroko land border has been closed since 2019, when the Federal Govrnment ordered that all importations must be done through the seaports.

Mr Akinwunmi Olaluwoye, the FRSC Idiroko Unit Commander, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ota that two other persons sustained injuries in the incident.
