Alleged drug deal: Court bars lawyers, journalists from covering Abba Kyari’s trial
Journalists covering the ongoing trial of suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari and other co-defendants were denied access to Court 10 of the Federal High Court in Abuja, where the proceedings were taking place. The order to restrain the journalists came after an application by Mr. Sunday Joseph, counsel for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), seeking protection for the next witness scheduled to testify in the trial.
