He is one of the victims of Iwo Road mayhem that took place on Wednesday in Ibadan. The protesters who are shop owners at the place where the attack had occurred revealed the kind of person Rahman was before his sudden death.

Some residents in the Sanyo area of Ibadan, Oyo State, in the morning of Wednesday, June 30, trooped out with kegs and jerrycans to scoop fuel after a fully-loaded petrol tanker fell, spilling its content on the road. The incident occurred around 8:00 a.m. at Sanyo end in the Ibadan section of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway when the driver of the fuel tanker, coming from Lagos and heading towards Iwo Road, suddenly lost control, causing the tanker to fall.

According to a news that was published by Tribune Online this morning, it was alleged that a POS operator in Ibadan has been kidnapped by some unknown kidnappers, who abducted him immediately he withdrew money for his POS business.According to the information that was gotten, it was alleged that the victim, whose name was given as Abiodun Obafaye was abducted at the Iwo Road area of Ibadan on Tuesday around 4:30pm in the evening and after he was abducted, the kidnappers called his wife and demanded for five million as ransom to set her husband free from them.

One Killed, Scores Injured As Phone Seller Was Attacked In Ibadan

One person, a phone seller at Iwo Road, Ibadan has been reportedly killed by members of the Oyo State Park Manager System on Wednesday, 16th June 2021.
