There have been speculations on whether or not JAMB will sell 2021 UTME/DE forms, and also conduct the UTME examinations in the year 2021. This is due to the prolonged strike by ASUU and the complete closure of schools since the month of March, back in the year 2020. However, the administration of JAMB has disclosed that it would go ahead with the sales of 2021 UTME/DE forms, despite the damage done on the academic calendar, noting that UTME examination is a yearly exercise and as such, will not be put on hold.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has revealed to candidates who sat for the 2020 Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination that there is still room for change of preferred institutions and courses.
