Kidnap victims rescued in Osun by Nigerian police force

Four commuters were reportedly kidnapped on Sunday and Monday on Tafida Imesi-Ile and Ilare/Esa-Odo roads.The rescue operation was carried out by a team of policemen and local security outfits.One of the local security operatives lost his life during a gun battle with the kidnappers, while another sustained an injury from gunshots.The statement said that as soon as the Commissioner of Police in Osun received a distress call that some people had been kidnapped, he drafted a combined team of Police Tactical Unit, JTF and other security outfits to rescue the commuters.The victims were rescued at 3:05 p.M.There is a sequel to the pressure mounted on the abductors by the police and other security agencies.
