A former Chairman of Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Samuel Akala, has hinted that Governor Abdullahi Sule played a part in the unlawful election that led to the emergence of Honourable Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi as the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly; as he revealed how the Governor received the purported Speaker and his loyalists after they had conducted what he described as a kangaroo election at the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

The Former Chairman of Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Samuel Akala, has stated that the election that produced Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe-Abdullahi as the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly was illegal. According to Samuel Akala, the clark of the Assembly issue a notice to all the newly elected members of the assembly to come to the house of assembly complex on Tuesday for their inauguration.
Herders attack: We are under siege, communities in Nasarawa cry out
Uncertainty in Nasarawa state as four Communities currently under attack by suspected herders have cried out for rescue, as the residents allege being under siege. The affected communities located in Karu Local government of Nasarawa state are Gwanja, Angwan Bege, Angwan Madaki and Gidan Allah, dominated by Gwandara, Mada and Yeskwa tribes.
