Before now, nearly all the national dailies had reported deadly violence that broke out between the masquerade worshippers and Muslim faithful in Osogbo, Osun State. The clash was reported to have occurred on the day the Muslims were gathered to do a special prayer for Nigeria in front of their mosque.
According to a report published by DAILY POST, masquerade worshipers in Osogbo unleashed hell on some Muslims at Kamorudeen Central Mosque, in Oluode Aranyin, Osogbo, while performing a special prayer. One Chief Kayode Esuleke, his son, Ifasola and two others have been remanded over the alleged killing of a man named Moshood Salawudeen in a mosque in Osogbo, Osun State. It would be remembered that masquerade worshippers in Osogbo reportedly attacked a mosque known as Kamorudeen Central Mosque at Oluode Aranyin , on June 27, 2021, when a prayer organized for Nigeria was ongoing.

Recall the armed traditionalists had on Sunday, June 28 attacked members of the Kamarudeen Society who were holding a special prayer for the country in front of their mosque.
