Bandits attacked the vehicle Ms Awashima was traveling in along a highway in Tsafe Local Government of Zamfara State on Tuesday.

The Registrar of NECO, Dantani Wushishi, disclosed this during a presentation at the 2021 Biennial National Conference and with Association of Model Islamic Schools title, "Consequences of Examination Malpractice: Closing the gaps and incentives for National Growth".
