Eight Arm Robbers, Three Kidnappers Arrested By Police In Nasarawa.
The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested eight suspected armed robbers led by Shamsu Uman who attacked a house at Angwan Jarmi area in the Keffi Local Government Area of the state. The Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ramhan Nansel, disclosed this in Lafia, he said that the suspected armed robbers, who launched an attack on the house, carted away household items and a huge amount of money, upon receipt of the information, the Police personnel's attached to Angwan Lambu Division in Keffi LGA, launched a manhunt of the criminal elements and were able to arrest about eight of the suspected armed robbers.

The Nasarawa State Police Command has announced the arrest of a 35-year-old suspect carrying 260 rounds of live ammunition and 53 empty magazines in the state's Akwanga Local Government Area. The suspect was apprehended at Alushi Junction in Akwanga, where the articles and N38,500 cash were recovered, according to a statement issued by the Command's Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Ramhan Nansel, on Saturday in Lafia.

Barr. Muhammed Abubakar Opu, the Secretary of the Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen. ASP Ramhan Nansel, the state's Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed this to journalists in a statement on Wednesday in Lafia. He added that a group of about five unidentified gunmen entered the NASIEC Secretary's residence in Bakin Rijiya Village, along the Lafia-Shendam Road, around 11.45 p.m. on Tuesday night and abducted him to an unknown destination.
