It was sheer divine providence that saved the driver of a Toyota Sienna Space Bus in the morning of Thursday, September 2, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a truck in front of it on a highway in Lagos State. The accident occurred around 8:00 a.m. at LASU U-turn area along LASU-Isheri road, when the lone occupant of the vehicle, apparently on top speed and due to the wet and slippery road following a heavy rainfall, suddenly lost control of the vehicle, causing him to crash into the rear of the truck in front of it.

The Lagos State University (LASU), has announced that it will refund 50 percent of school fees, to students with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.50, in every session.
